Mohammed's followers sometimes claim they adhere a "faith of Abraham" as if Abraham founded a "religion". Yet most don't even bother to learn about Abraham other than through Islamic so-called "tradition", that was all created and put to the pen in the 7th and 8th centuries AD, that presents itself as thousands of years of prior historical record all the way back to Adam. But if Mohammed's followers would simply read about Abraham in the historical record detailed in scripture it might clear up one of their most difficult misconceptions regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Specifically their inability to understand that God manifest, or revealed Himself, through the person of Jesus Christ. This even though they believe that Mary conceived Jesus solely by the direct will of God, and they would also claim that all God would have to do is say "be", and He could reveal Himself in any manner that He so chose. But I'm sure we would all agree that it's silly to even suggest that God would need to say "be" if He chose to reveal himself in the person of ten different men at the same time.

So let's look at the first time that YHWH manifest Himself, in the flesh of a man, to Abraham in Genesis chapter 18.

Before the Jews surrendered to a much later doctrine in which men declared that the name Yahweh/YHWH was too sacred to say or write, the tetragrammaton YHWH occurred in this spot before it was replaced with their later substitute title "Adonay". The NAME of God - YHWH - generally pronounced "Yahweh" occurs nearly 7,000 times in older versions of their scriptures prior to being scrubbed out by this pop-doctrine. How different might the Middle East look today if Arabic speaking Christians and Jews had further isolated Mohammed's followers by using God's name in their Bibles?

Some suggest that these three "men" were angels. But who can doubt that Abraham believed he was speaking directly to YHWH based on the context? Are we to believe that Abraham thought himself a "servant" of an angel rather than YHWH, particularly in light of all the direct contact Abraham had with Yahweh? Of course not. Abraham knew he was a servant of YHWH. Abraham continues....

4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree: 5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

Water is not only fetched so these men can wash their feet, but Abraham offers the men food, and they accept.

6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead [it], and make cakes upon the hearth. 7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave [it] unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it. 8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set [it] before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

And so these men - one of them being Yahweh Himself - did eat.

9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent. 10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. It's obvious who the "I" is that had the power to return Sarah's fertility.

.......and Sarah shall have a son. 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. 16 And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. 17 And the LORD {Yehovah} said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, {Yehovah} to do justice and judgment; that the LORD {Yehovah} may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. 20 And the LORD {Yehovah} said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. 22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. {Yehovah} 23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

So who has the power to destroy a city of men, that "Abraham drew near" to?

Who has the power to destroy a city of men?

24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that [are] therein? 25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

Who was the "man", that Abraham addressed as God - YHWH - that is "the Judge of all the earth"? The same one that dined, and for which water was fetched to wash His feet.

26 And the LORD {Yehovah} said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Who had the power and authority to spare Sodom? The answer is again obvious. Abraham did not see God, but Abraham did have a face to face meeting with Yahewh as He manifest, or revealed Himself, in the flesh of a man.

After their conversation the Lord God Yehovah - Yahweh, YHWH - "went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham".

Christians that recognize the co-existence of Yahweh and His Messiah Yahshua, as further confirmed through these "Christophanies" or appearances of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, understand that this "man" that Abraham met, that had the power to destroy Sodom, was Yahshua - the Messiah - Jesus Christ.

1Timothy 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Let's look at the term "angel" in context as used four chapters later.

Genesis 22:11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I.

Does that verse indicate the angel is in the form of a man? He's calling out from the heavens, or from overhead. Whether in the Old Testament or the New, angels are messengers.

Now look at the verse again and notice the article "the" before angel indicating very a unique and specific "messenger". Checking Stong's definition again we find "the theophanic angel". The "angel of the LORD" declared in this passage that He is God, thus the Messiah - that is Yahshua - Jesus Christ - is God.

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Why don't you sorely deceived folks open your eyes and try to learn about Abraham? Have you ever even read the Bible? Even the Gospel of Jesus Christ? It's time to set aside the 7th and 8th century Islamic "tradition" that was all created around ONE MAN, one SELF-PROCLAIMED prophet that not only had no fulfilled prophecy but several false prophecies to his credit, that not a single WITNESS ever heard his "Allah" or Gabriel give a single revelation to, that never performed a single miracle. One self-serving "prophet" that supported himself by attacking and then stealing the property of productive people. A self-serving prophet whose "Allah" lavished on him all the wives he wanted - but of course only for him. One man who claimed to be speaking for the Quraish's "Allah" that was barely able to get 50 to 100 folks to follow him in the first 13 years of Islam.

Then he picked up the sword and began his reign of terror that is continued by his true followers today.

So it has been for 1400 years with Mohammed's true followers. Those that most closely immitate the behavior of their prophet. A man that is revealed through Islam's own books as the EXACT OPPOSITE of Jesus Christ, just as his 7th century 23 year record is revealed as the EXACT OPPOSITE of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Stunning as it is, Mohammed's followers reject the 1600 year record of YHWH to mankind through ALL of his prophets and witnesses, that His people have followed through two covenants for 3500 years, to follow the 23 year 7th century record of a man that their own books reveal as being a murdering, prisoner abusing, thief. Open your eyes folks. The hour is growing late. As I write Mohammed's true followers that understand the concept of "Holy Jihad" - the pinnacle of worship in Islam - are rioting in Egypt.

Tabari VIII:38 "The Messenger of Allah commanded that all of the Jewish men and boys who had reached puberty should be beheaded. Then the Prophet divided the wealth, wives, and children of the Banu Qurayza Jews among the Muslims."

Believe it or not you will actually find some of Mohammed's followers today that suggest that the conquest and slaughter of those innocent Jewish farm boys and their dads, was somehow appropriate behavior after the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, brought the new covenant to all mankind.

Bukhari:V5B59N459 "I entered the Mosque, saw Abu, sat beside him and asked about sex. Abu Said said, 'We went out with Allah's Apostle and we received female slaves from among the captives. We desired women and we loved to do coitus interruptus.'"

Can you imagine being one of the sisters or mothers of those innocent Jewish farm boys that were brought before Mohammed and beheaded right in front of him over those trenches. This followed by being sexually abused by the very men responsible for the beheading of your brother, father and grandfather? Yet many Muslims today don't see anything wrong with this.

Now look at the verse again and notice the article "the" before angel indicating very a unique and specific "messenger". Checking Stong's definition again we find "the theophanic angel". When the term "the angel of the Lord" is used in the Old Testament it is generally understood by Christians to be a Christophany or appearance of Yeshua/Jesus Christ.
